From The Polyphonic Spree
- 2005 started with the band's first Australian Tour in January.
- January also saw the release of the movie Thumbsucker, which the band helped make the soundtrack for.
- In February, the band toured in America.
- In July, the documentary, Murderball (which was about wheelchair rugby) was released, which featured the band on the soundtrack.
- In August the band toured Europe. This is also the month that this Wiki was formed!
- In September the band performed several shows to promote the release of the Thumbsucker Soundtrack.
- The year ended with the 6th Annual Holiday Extravaganza
